Wall-Mounted Hose Reels

Wall-mounted hose reels are made from professional grade, heavy duty steel that has been powder coated to protect the unit against both the elements and the stress of normal wear and tear. Each reel is made with rolled edges and ribbed discs that provide strength and stability during operation. This prolongs the life of the hose and is safer for workers.

Several different models exist that you can choose from according to the types of hoses and cables, sizes of hoses, and different work environments you need them for. When selecting a model, it is advisable to double check with a material handling specialist to ensure the best possible match between equipment specification and industrial application.

SM Series

The SMK-202 wall mount hose reel swivels on in demand whatever direction you need to work and locks into place. Eight locking positions are available on the unit. These wall-mounted hose reels are compact in design and very lightweight. They work easily with pressures of up to 4,000 PSI. Additional strength and control of the hose come from the “U” shaped base on the unit, and from the hose control bar which keeps the hose from slipping off the side disks.

V/P Series

The V/P Series is a spring-driven or hand-crank vacuum hose reel that can be ordered in either vacuum only or a vacuum/pneumatic combo. Both designs will remove unwanted debris, by-products, and fumes from the work environment. The vacuum/pneumatic model has dual plumbing that powers pneumatic tools while operating the vacuum in a completely enclosed system.

DPD Series

The Dual Product Deliver, wall-mounted hose reel features two swivel inlets and two swivel outlets for dual hose applications. They are intended for large hose diameters in high volume delivery industrial applications. Extra stability and rigidity is provided by steel cross supports to all four corners of the box-style frame.

Truck Mount Series

The Truck Mount hose reel mounts a tractor trailer and provides spring-driven retraction. The unit is made with an extra large chassis with pedestal style arms that span from the roller guide bracket down to the sturdy mounting base. Because they do not need an external power source to operate, they are ideal for off-road applications.

SPD Series

The “Single Product Delivery” is another type of spring driven, wall mounted hose reels that is intended to accommodate large diameter hoses. The most popular use for this model is in applications where high-volume delivery is performed through medium and low pressure hoses.

P-WC

These wall-mounted welding cable reels protect your welding cable and extend its anticipated lifespan. This model stores the cable on a 25, 35 or 50 foot self-retracting welding cable reel. It is an excellent way to maintain safety, efficiency, and organization in crowded work areas where heavy arc welding has to be done.

SSP Series

Safety Series Performance, spring driven, wall-mounted hose reels prevent static buildup with a retraction speed of up to 80% less than that of standard hose reels. This eliminates the slamming action at the end of the recoil cycle and is much safer for the worker and easier on the hose. The SSP series is the preferred wall-mount hose reel for the delivery of air, water, grease, or other fluids in combustible environments where static buildup can create a spark that could cause an explosion.

Each of our wall-mounted hose reels can be customized to some extent. The degree of customization varies according to the nature of the unit and its intended use. Talk to your manufacturer’s representative about these options when placing your order today.

Caper 2011: Paul Mitchell Schools

Fran Drescher, Donny and Marie Osmond, and motivational speaker Kathy Buckley were just a few of the stars onstage at Paul Mitchell Schools' 26th annual Caper event. Held February 9-10 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, the smoke-free, alcohol-free, hands-on educational extravaganza drew over 2,300 students (known as "Future Professionals") who earned the trip by selling more than $2.8 million in specially packaged Paul Mitchell products.

Top leaders in and out of the professional beauty industry delivered two days of nonstop education, motivation, and inspiration. On day one, an hour before show time, the doors opened and Future Professionals raced inside to grab great seats, filling the room with sky-high energy as they waited for the magic to begin.

Paul Mitchell Cofounder and Chairman John Paul DeJoria, Co-owner Angus Mitchell, Global Artistic Director Robert Cromeans, and Paul Mitchell Schools Dean and Cofounder Winn Claybaugh kicked things off with a warm welcome, then introduced three riveting stage shows whose "What Inspires You?" theme brought the audience to their feet.

First up: the Paul Mitchell Future Professional Design Team. Their fashion presentation featuring nine models (also Future Professionals) rivaled the best of the best in choreography, modeling, wardrobe, and makeup. Paul Mitchell's Global Cutting Team was led by Angus Mitchell, Scott Cole, Takashi Kitamura, and Robert Cromeans, who wowed the crowd by creating a sensational haircut with clippers and a giant fork. Linda Yodice, Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell Color, shared a timely message for today's economy about increasing business by understanding two key factors about your guests (time and money). Paul Mitchell Artistic Director Stephanie Kocielski led the Awapuhi Wild Ginger show, starring Paul Mitchell's latest product line and featuring Melissa Jaqua, Lucie Doughty, LaDonna Dryer, George Morales, and Rosie Matos.
Donny and Marie Osmond asked to be part of Caper this year. Joined by members of their Las Vegas show, they entertained for half an hour and extended heartfelt thanks to Future Professionals for supporting Children's Miracle Network Hospitals through the Paul Mitchell Schools 2010 and 2011 FUNraising campaign. The Nanny star, Fran Drescher, popped in for a surprise visit and extended her thanks for support of her Cancer Schmancer Foundation. Audience favorite Kathy Buckley, America's first hearing impaired comedian and founder of No Limits, shared her inspiring life story and reminded the audience that who you are is up to you and everyone is special. In a Q&A session after her talk, nearly every Future Professional had the same question for Kathy: "Can I give you a hug?"

Additional speakers included author and Paul Mitchell school owner Giulio Veglio and Modern Salon publisher Steve Reiss, who recognized Lucie Doughty, Scott Cole, and Linda Yodice for their feature article and cover of this month's Modern Salon magazine. Diana Schmidtke, celebrity men's grooming specialist whose clients include George Clooney, Matt Damon, Harrison Ford, and countless Hollywood superstars, shared her secrets for career success.

Other highlights included the Career Fair, where Future Professionals mingled with salon representatives, practiced their interview skills, and learned about opportunities across America, and the Caper Mall, featuring a full line of Paul Mitchell logo wear and educational tools. Day one ended with a favorite Paul Mitchell tradition: the White Party, where Future Professionals took pictures with their favorite stars and danced the night away.

Day two centered around three hands-on classroom rotations with top Paul Mitchell artists and educators. Haircutting and color classes were awash in a sea of mannequin heads: one for each of the 300-plus attendees in each room. Working with a theme of "What Inspires You?," Future Professionals incorporated their own inspirations into new cutting and color techniques. In the "Look and Learn" classroom, Robert, Stephanie, Angus, Scott, and others demonstrated tips and techniques. New in this year's lineup: a specialty class for skin care Future Professionals.

The closing show featured four top salon companies: A Robert Cromeans Salon, Lunatic Fringe, Floyd's 99 Barbershops, and Angus Mitchell Salon. As Winn Claybaugh introduced the backstage teams responsible for the entire showa"including wardrobe, makeup, production, logistics, choreography, classroom leaders, dancers, and modelsa"his final message centered on the variety of careers and opportunities available in the beauty industry.

Asked what was the best thing that happened to her at Caper, one Future Professional said, "It felt like we were the celebrities. They're teaching us to be the stars!"

Reel in Your Identity With Badge Reels

Badge reels are a popular way to display ID cards, badges, and proximity cards. If you don't know what a badge reel is, it is an item that attaches to an individual's clothing so that the person can wear his/her ID. The ID is attached to a retractable cord that makes it easy for the person to pull out his/her ID and swipe it for access to secured areas. There are a lot of different badge reels available these days, so this article will take a look at what's out there so you can choose the appropriate badge reels for your workplace or other organization.

A very basic type of badge reel is the no-twist variety. These reels contain a piece of plastic on the cord to prevent your ID card from getting twisted around. These items can either be clipped to a belt or you can attach the swivel back to your clothing. There are a lot of different colors available, so you're bound to find the right one for your employees or volunteers.

Round badge-reels are very popular, especially since you can customize them with your company's colors and/or logo. These badge reels can either be opaque or translucent and you can get them with a spring clip or belt clip so they can be easily attached to clothing. Some round badge reels have a reinforced vinyl strap that helps ensure your ID will stay attached to the reel at all times. Square badge reels are very similar to round ones, except that they are square. Both the round and square badge reels have a cord that is 34 inches or longer.

If displaying your company's logo is important, you will be pleased to know that you can buy a Logoreel badge reel. These items have an imprint area that is 150% larger than the ones found on regular badge reels. That way your logo can be seen more easily. The cord is slightly longer and each reel has two different attachment options: a belt clip and a loop that can be easily attached to a lanyard. These are some of the most versatile badge reels you can buy. If you like the idea of attaching a badge reel to a lanyard but you don't need the extra real estate for your logo, lanyard badge-reels are worth a look. Some lanyard reels are known as "Smart Reel" products because the cord will stay extended unless you press a button to retract it. (There are also Smart Reels that stand alone as opposed to being part of lanyard.)

Carabiner and heavy-duty badge-reels are both good choices if you need badge reels that are high-quality. Both of these types of reels can be customized so you can show off your company's identity. Some of the carabiner badge reels can be attached to your clothing in two different ways (lanyard and belt clip), plus they won't twist around. Meanwhile, heavy-duty badge reels have a belt clip and you can choose from several different styles of cords, including chain-link, nylon, and steel wire. These reels range from 18 to 24 inches long.

Finally, there are three other styles of reels you may want to look at. First, there are heart-shaped reels that are available in pink and have a pink ribbon on them to promote breast cancer awareness. (Other colors, such as red, are also available and lack the ribbon graphic.) If you (or your employees) tend to lose track of your keys, you can get key reels that clip on to your belt, so you always know where your keys are. And for you outdoor enthusiasts, there are sports clips that are customizable and can easily clip on to your jacket or backpack. These are especially great for skiers because they can hold on to your lift ticket.

Holding on to your ID card, badge, or keys can be easy when you have the right badge reel holder. Now that you're aware of the many different types of badge reels, you can pick out just the right one for your needs.

Rat Rod vs Hot Rod

A Rat Rod is difficult to define but you know when you see one! They are often based on cars from the 1940's to the 1960's but some examples are as recent as the 1970's. Some Hot-Rods are assembed from a selection of parts usually dating around the 1930's.

To the people not familiar with Rat Rods these cars may appear unfinished and shoddy but that couldn't be further from the truth. Rat Rods were originally developed as an alternative to the glossy high-price Hot-Rods which were never driven and trailored to shows. Rat Rods are all about the fun of building and driving them and appearance take second place. The majority of Rat Rods that are seen at the shows will be dented and rusty but importantly they will have been driven there. If a part needs to be replaced then the owner will often fabricate the part themselves of fit a part that does the job equally well. If the Rat Rod is painted at all it is usually matt black or primered and often will have Maltese crosses on the doors and skull accessories such as the gear-shifter.

For the builders of these cars it is all about building a car that performs well both in speed and acceleration as well as handling and braking. For that reason the majority of the 'comfort items will be stripped away such as headlining, interior trim to give the best power to weight ratio possible. Many of the cars have heavily modified bodies and are often roof-chopped, channelled, lengthened, shortened etc.

The typical choice of engine for a Rat Rod is a V8 which would probably be a Ford Flathead V8 or an early Chrysler Hemi.

Fishing: How to Choose the Right Fishing Rod

There are many ways to catch fish. A fisherman can surely catch fish with his hands. He can catch fish with a spear. He could even cast a net over a school of fish, however awkward it may be at first. All of these methods can be effective with practice but they offer the same disadvantage to the fisherman: the catch is restricted to only shallow water varieties of fish.

On the other hand, many believe that it is the fishing rod that is the fisherman's most basic, most important weapon. With a fishing rod, your chances of getting a good catch are very much improved.

When it comes to game fishing, that is, fishing for large, offshore fish, a fishing rod is a necessity. You just can’t do without it.

If you're new at fishing, a fishing rod will be your main investment. It is the one, essential tool that makes most fishing possible and enjoyable. Oftentimes, just manipulating a fishing rod can become addictive for many people.

Here are some guidelines that will help you select the right fishing rod for your needs.

▪ Shape. A fishing rod should taper off from its base to its tip. You won't have problems with finding a fishing rod that satisfies this shape. It’s quite widespread, practically universal. Advanced designs are introduced to the market every now and then, but the classic and traditional is still the best and finest choice.

▪ Weight. A fishing rod is described by weight. This weight doesn't refer to the actual heaviness of the rod. Rather, this refers to how resilient the rod will be for specific types of lures and for specific types of fish. Therefore, classifications like Ultra-Light, Light, Medium-Light, Medium, Medium-Heavy, Heavy, and Ultra-Heavy are used when describing fishing rods or fishing poles to help the fisherman in choosing the correct one for his objectives.

Fly fishing, for instance, can be managed with Ultra-Light to Medium weight rods. Bass fishing, on the other hand, would require Medium-Light to Heavy weight rods.

▪ Action. A fishing rod is also described by action. Action refers to how much the fishing rod can bend when pulled by a particular force, and how fast it will revert to its neutral position when the force is removed. Action is categorized as slow, medium or fast, although middle-points between levels can be found.

▪ One-piece or Two-piece. Some fishing rods are labeled as one-piece, because they come in, well, one piece. They are said to feel very natural for the fisherman, allowing for a more comfortable and relaxing time.

On the other hand, two-piece fishing rods are, of course, more complicated. But with the proper engineering, these rods can achieve their goals effectively well. However, you’ll need to take special care when selecting a two-piece rod. If it’s ineptly manufactured, it could be disastrous even for experienced fishermen.

When the time comes for you to choose a fishing rod, you really need to know about the fish you intend to catch. Some fish take a few minutes to catch, while others can take many long hours. Knowing this will dictate what kind of fishing rod you’ll need. There’ll be no room for guesswork and you’ll have the best fishing rod possible. Good luck!

Florida Fishing With Sand Fleas!

Every fisherman who has ever thrown his bait into the Gulf of Mexico likes to fish for Pompano. They're the best tasting fish in the gulf, bar none. They're also fairly easy to catch from June until the middle of December. Winter and spring months are only fair because they are scattered and generally smaller than the one's caught in the summer and fall. The Pompano were running up and down the Gulf of Mexico this fine Fourth of July weekend. This is a fish that truly loves warmer water, with their preferred water temperature being between 82 and 98 degrees Fahrenheit.

Walking along the beach just after first light with the smell of the ocean and the spray from the surf leaving the taste of salt on your lips is an absolutely wonderful way to start the day. The sun, just peeking through the mist, will soon burn away any lingering wisps of fog remaining on the beach. Seabirds fighting over remnants of a mysterious sea object that has washed ashore, reminds me to protect the shrimp I had stored in a bucket next to my beach chair. A solitary pelican has just crept within 15 yards of me and is staring at the bait bucket as though he can see inside. He must have heard the shrimp moving around.

This beautiful morning I was fishing off the beautiful sugar white sand of Mexico Beach, just east of Port St. Jo and just down the road from Panama City, Florida. One of the few areas that is not overly populated, either by local fishermen or by tourists, it was a surprise to find myself relatively alone. Looking up and down the beach you could only see an occasional beach walker searching the sand to see what secrets the sea had washed ashore on the early morning tide.

Pompano are not fish eaters so the first thing you have to do when fishing is to secure your bait. Besides the shrimp I had already bought, I had to have sand fleas. They're on any Pompano's menu and they're usually plentiful along most beaches. The easiest and cheapest way to obtain these them is to catch them yourself! They're found at the waters edge as it recedes back into the sea. As the water rushes back from the beach, you'll see small holes appear at the water's edge. Those holes are where a sand flea is burrowing. Immediately dig down and you'll find them.

For my sand flea hunting I simply use a sturdy bucket that I've drilled many holes in the bottom and sides. This allows the water to flush out of its container and leave the sand fleas on the bottom when I dig for them. There are several types of sand flea rakes you could buy, but making your own is more fun. I've even seen kids on the beach digging for them with a stiff toy beach bucket. Just use whatever is handy. After you catch a dozen or more, put them into your bait bucket with a little sand and water and you're ready to start fishing. You can always catch more fleas when you run out of the ones you've already caught.

Pompano run in schools. Where you find one, you will usually find many, so remember that when you're catching sand fleas. Pompano also eat shrimp with live ones being the better bait but dead ones will work if your bait shrimp is not alive.

I use a weight 5' rod and a light reel with 8 to 10 lb test line. I use this because I know that most pompano are between 1 pound and 3 pounds. I also keep a 7' surf rod and surf reel with 15 lb test line in the other line holder just in case I hang a bigger fish.

The rig that has worked well for me starts with a barrel swivel on the end of my line. I'll then tie a 3' to 4' foot of 30 lb leader to the swivel. After that comes the two 8" lengths of leader on which I will tie 1/0 circle hooks. I'll tie those about 12" apart. After that, all that remains is tying a 2 ounce egg sinker to the bottom of the leader. Then all I have to so is bait my hooks and throw the rig as far out on the gulf as I can. That's usually about 30 to 40 yards.

There are other more sophisticated and expensive ways to catch both pompano and sand fleas, but I choose to keep it simple and as cheap as I can. Vacations are costly enough without spending a lot of money on bait and the fish you will catch with them. Most of us, if we add up the cost of a fishing trip and divide that into the amount of fish we catch, would be much better off going to a good restaurant. I figure that counting the gas for the trip to the beach, lodging, food, bait and a few souvenirs, each fish I caught that day cost me approximately $438.00 each.

What Constitute a Good 3d Demo Reel Part 2

Hi! This is me, Sam The 3d blogger!

Yesterday for the ones who were there I was talking about what could constitute a good 3d demo reel. Specifically I was talking about what kind of music or song you should use as soundtrack in your demo reel. So basically I told you that a too much aggressive or to distracting song could be bad for your demo. I also told you to go with the content of your demo as if its a animation demo reel you need to put a song where the rhythm fit well with the rhythm of the animation. In this way the both enhance each other in a complementary way. You may also need a song where the cut of the demo could happen on specific beat or movement in the song. In example when the bridge of the song came you may want to put one of your nicest pieces.

So this is basically about that for the music, no need to add anything if not to be cautious and to realized that the people who will see your demo and hire you may not like or having the same taste as you.

That's been said lets talk as I said yesterday about the lenght of your demo and what you should put in it! The fun parts! As I'm talking I will refer to my own demo reel that Ive done for my 3d animation class when I was a student. Ive already put it on the blog on my last article yesterday so just scroll a little down to take a look a it.

How long my demo reel should be ? I know you are asking you that question! Well the answer should be as long as you got awesome stuff to show! But a rule of thumbs is that if your not yet a professional 3d artist you should not go pass 1:15 minutes. But it all depend on the content as I said and specifically on the genre of your demo. 1:15minutes its very long when you got only four render to show... but at the inverse if you got 4 animation it will go faster. You got it! Its all relative in a way but keep in mind that the purpose to have a demo reel is to show it to people who may and will hire you. They must not be annoyed in any sens, if they had a bad experience when watching your demo even if you are good you could be dismiss.

In the same way its like passing an interview for a job. You surely already take class on the subject at the school. You know when presenting yourself you should be shaved, looking clean, having nice and clean clothes.... You know the kind of stuff who should be natural and that we always been told at school... At equal talent or as pound for pound as they said in the boxing circle who may win? Talent for talent they might choose or should I said they will took the one who inspired them the most credibility and this person is the person who look well dress and clean because it tell to the employers that this person is cautious, loyal, nice, take the job application seriously and in extend that person is serious etc...
Back to the demo!! Sorry I tend to make digression sometimes but its all for your food!:OP. Than your demo should look slick and cool and professional. Looking like you put some effort in it. In example don't just put anything in anyways in it. Do a presentation screen and a credit screen! Take a look to my demo is what I'm talking about. Ive done a presentation screen with my name and already present some of my character in pose. It lead the employer to think that they will learn much about these character. Then on the credit screen you may want to thanks your teachers and your friend who gives you advice. The employers may even know your teachers because they were colleague or one of his old students! I'm not saying it is the only way but a good presentation screen is a must as well as a credit screen. Think about it like writing an essay. Have you ever read an essay without introduction and conclusion??

Select only your better stuff!. A guy from a video game company came one day at the college to give advice on what they want in a demo reel and the most important thing he said to remember is that in doubt of a piece, just don't put it in your demo! Just put the one you are the most proud of, you get it? In other ways there is no need to put 15 character if they are all botched or for 2minutes long of walk cycle if they are ugly or not finish yet... You can always in that case put the inscription w.i.p beside them but only if they are promising stuff that you have been told to put in by your teacher or friend that understand the field.

But concretely what I should put in it? Are you a modeller, a texture artist, an animator etc..? To ask is to answer in that case. If your a modeller and you suck a animation just don't put your animation in your reel as I said before it surely will not be your best works. Beside it you want to applied for a modelling job so don't confuse the employer..... Eh eh it always go back to the employers!! If by any chance your good at both than select just the best of your work or better do two demo reel! one for each field of competence.

OK let assume that your a modeller.... do you want to specialise in character modelling or in environment? or both... A good character modeller know the human anatomy very well so you migth want to put a male and a female in your demo, big shot of face and head modelling etc... In this way you will show that you are efficient in both anatomies. Put your character in pose so they can look more natural and funny not just the boring ''T'' pose.

You are good in environment? Are you good in modelling props? terrain? Building? That's right I know you get it! Put one or two example of your best work in each categories. The diversity is the key of the evolution as Darwin might have said! In this way the employers will look a your demo and see that you can do a lot of different things in modelling and will be tempted to hire you before a guy who just model character in example. But it still depend on what they searching for... so you may check before if your talent correspond to their demand. Do your homework do research on the company you want to applied, what they need when will they need people etc.. Beside that I know that little company and studios prefer to have jack of all trade people and big studios may categorize their artist by their competences and skills. In example some will just be texture artist other only lighting artist...

Let finish quickly with stuff to put for animators before that post became too much long... As for modeller the point is to show your skill. In animation it depend if you want to be a video game artist or a movie artist but both tend to collapse these days. The base a employer want to see usually are a walk cycle, a run cycle, a jump cycle, a lift, an animal. walking...and ultimately interaction between two character. You can also show your skill at cartoon and realism and do a facial acting. So you may also want to put each of these cycle for male and female. Take a look at the Richard Williams '' The animator's survival kit'' book, its the bible of animator try searching it in google. I know you can get it as pdf as well. All these cycle are show in it. So you could put all these animation in your demo but just the lapse of time needed to show correctly the cycle. In example no need to put 20 second of a walk cycle after 3 or 5 seconds its usually enough.

So this is it for today post, maybe tomorrow or Sunday I will continue on that matter in criticising more concretely my demo reel so you could learn from my mistakes as well as my good shot!

Film Tanks & Reels

Learn about the working of photographic equipment such as film reels and film processing tanks.

Sifting through our favorite photo albums is like traveling back in time by going down memory lane and reliving those precious moments spent with our loved ones. But what keeps our memories from fading away? Of course the camera--one of the best human inventions of all times.

Quiet a lot of work is involved before we finally get to see our everlasting fond memories on paper.

Film Reel

Once the film roll is complete and ready to be developed, it is loaded/ spooled onto a film reel in a darkroom. This step involves extra carefulness as portions of the film might not get developed if it has been improperly loaded. A film reel actually looks like a picture on a reel that would rotate and the photographs would show up, one after the other, on a cinema screen like the way cinemas showed movies long time back or like the Hollywood old film reel pictures as depicted in today's movies.

Basically film reels are used for holding the roll film firmly so that it can be properly developed once inside the film processing tank. The roll takes the form of a spiral so that the film surfaces do not touch and it is uniformly spaced to let the chemical flow freely and touch every part of the film. The reel should be dry as any sign of dampness makes loading difficult.

Film reels are available in either plastic or steel and also in varied sizes to accommodate different films. Steel reels are more durable while the plastic ones are easier to handle by amateur photographers.

Film Reel Brands

Companies such as Peterson, Kindermann etc manufacture film tanks and reels for developing films.

Paterson positions itself as a user-friendly brand by offering the auto-load reel with a smooth finish and a twin ball ratchet system that make film loading very simple.

The 35mm stainless steel reels manufactured by Kindermann are marketed as chemical resistant, easy to clean and unbreakable as they are made from strong chrome nickel steel. It also guarantees to prevent damage as the reel is designed in such a way that there is negligible contact between the film edge and the reel.

Film Processing Tanks

Once the film has been loaded onto the film reel, it is developed using a light tight container called a film processing tank. The photographic film has the tendency to get damaged if exposed to daylight while developing, but with a film processing tank it can be developed in a daylight setting hence these are also referred to as 'daylight tanks'. The various chemicals required for developing the photographs can be poured inside through the opening in the tank's lid.

Similar to film reels, the film processing tank comes with different tank varieties and reel sizes to cater to both 35mm and 120mm film. The varieties include stainless steel and plastic tanks. For beginners it is advisable to use plastic tanks as they are cheap and user-friendly. However when processing temperature needs to be controlled, only stainless tanks can be used. Moreover a steel tank can be used either wet or dry unlike plastic tank where the film sticks and gets ruined if the tank is wet.

The core steps for developing photographs are summarized in the following steps:

Prepare all the necessary equipment (tools, chemicals etc);

Spool the film onto the film reel in the dark;

Transfer the reel to the film processing tank sealed by a cap (once safely packed inside, film can be easily developed in daylight without getting ruined);

Pour the developer in the tank and start the agitation process till required;

After agitation is complete, wash the film;

Hang to dry in a dust-free area;

Cut the dry film into strips for printing.

In order to search for film tanks and film reels on sale, photography magazines or websites maybe consulted.

Fishing Rods and Reels and Fishing Lures

Fishing has been a favorite hobby and sport for many. There is something relaxing about fishing that just can't really be put into words. It doesn't matter if its bass fishing, ice fishing, or fresh water fishing, the entire experience is just amazing. It's not really just about catching the largest fish either. It's the entire experience from beginning to end. For example, the act of hooking your bait on the fishing line can be great. How many times have you cast and feel a bump all of a sudden, then BAM! You attempt to set your hook but you miss that fish completely. Can you relate? Of course, it happens all the time.

Most people can't figure out why they keep missing the fish. Pre-setting the hook is a lot harder than it looks. Lots of people throw in a top water lure, and then see a fish jumping on it; they jerk the rod and still miss the fish. There are specific times that warrant certain baits to use and also require setting the hook immediately. There are also other times when you don't want to preset the hook too fast.

Fishing is probably the most exciting of all sports, at least in some people's minds. Top water fishing is one of the more amazing forms of fishing. One of the most commonly used baits is the Zara Spook. This is probably one of the best bass fishing baits you can use. Many people throw this into the water and immediately see a fish jumping on it. They then try to immediately set the hook and miss the fish. The key to improving is patience. If you let the fish take the bait and then take your time and wait until you notice enough pressure from the fish, before you preset the hook, then you won't lose as many fish. This method can be applied to almost all top water baits you're using. This includes floating worms, jerk baits, prop baits, poppers, and the Zara Spook.

Here at Premium Fishing, we strive to offer quality fishing supplies and we want to do our best so you can have the most amazing fishing experience ever. Our website is like a candy store for fishing enthusiasts. We carry fishing hooks, lines, baits, gloves, rods, and more.
